Greetings CAARA Members,

I hope you are off to a great start on the new year. The 2026 CAARA-YuKanRun race schedule has been published and our Race Volunteer Web Site has been updated with the new races, dates, times, and locations.

This is the first call for volunteers for the coming race season. There are many spots to fill so I ask you to sign up for as many races as you can, as early as you can.

Three individuals will be in the role of Net Controller for the new season- WA1ESU, N1LKS, and K1KL. We would like to train one or two additional hams for Net Control. Let me know if you are interested and we will set up a Net Control “shadow” training for you.

If you have never participated as a race volunteer before, have no fear. There is a training manual on the website and we can arrange a telephone mini-training before your first race. Hop on board!
