Reminder Crane Estate Activation Event next week! Jult 28th-29th
Hello CAARAMAILERs and CAARA members,
This is a reminder that we will be operating a special event station at the Crane Estate on Castle Hill in Ipswich, MA, next Tuesday and Wednesday.
Setup begins at 8:30 AM and tear-down will be around 4:00 PM both days. Volunteers are welcome to help. Please let me know if you have any questions at bhockle@gmail.com.
In the mornings, we will host 50 campers from the Trustees' Summer Quest Program to introduce them to amateur radio and the Cape Ann Amateur Radio Association. If you would prefer dedicated operational time on our two stations, please plan to join us in the afternoon.
Please note that it is peak greenhead season, so bug repellent is highly recommended. Please dress appropriately and bring water to stay hydrated.
Those of you who cannot make it in person please listen for us and make a contact! Special event QSL cards are available to the first 100 contacts.
Best regards, Brandon Hockle NQ1W
CAARA Is asking for members to verify their email on the members roll
Dear Members,
Please help the Cape Ann Amateur Radio Association by taking a minute to ensure that we have accurate and updated contact information for you on our membership rolls.
We also want to verify that all users can access the member area of the club's website. To do this, we ask that all members please verify their details (Name, Callsign, Class, and most importantly email address) here: https://members.caara.net/content/members/
Thank you for helping us keep our records up to date. Your current email address on record in our members area is the only way we can ensure you receive membership renewal information, the newsletter, and important notices. If any of your info needs updating, please use our google form in order to report a discrepancy: CAARA Digital Committee Problem Reporting Form
When reporting the problem specify the website and the membership list url and what information needs updating. The Digital Committee requests that If there is nothing to change regarding your email or information, please do not submit a problem report.
Thank you so much for your membership and for helping CAARA keep an up to date and accurate member roll!
Best regards, Brandon Hockle (NQ1W)
