Reminder 6 meter Fishnet Tonight at 7:30pm
This is a reminder for the 6 meter Gloucester Fishnet, a simplex net held on 50.2 MHz Upper Side Band (USB) meeting tonight, Thursday, May 7th at 7:30pm.
I will serve as Net Control and look forward to hearing everyone on the air. Whether you are a regular or looking to test out your 6m setup, please feel free to check in and participate in the discussion.

Join the CAARA Elmer's Corps Today!
CAARA is launching an exciting new initiative designed to get our newly licensed HAMs on the air and to encourage unlicensed enthusiasts to join our hobby. To ensure the success of this program, we are forming the "CAARA Elmer Corp," and I am writing to personally ask for your support.
Barns and Blooms race this Saturday!
The CAARA race support team will be at the Barns and Blooms Half Marathon this Saturaday, May 9. We are still looking for one more volunteer; if you are interested in getting involved, you can reach us via email to races@caara.net. See the race support page for more information.

Open Wednesday morning for coffee and donuts
We will be open and back in business tomorrow, Wednesday, for the regular 10-12 coffee and donuts ragchew session at the club. The parking lot is open but please use kitchen door to enter the club. You will get a chance to see the handicap project first hand, hope to see you there.
New England QSO Party
The New England QSO Party on May 2nd and 3rh is a great time to check out antenna systems and offers a moderately paced opportunity to work new states and countries. You'll find a wide variety of participants, from newcomers to experienced contesters, all interested in making contacts with New England stations.

I am writing to solicit your participation this Monday, March 30th, at 12:30 PM for a demonstration to the members of the Gloucester Council on Aging at the Rose Baker Senior Center in Downtown Gloucester.
Reminder: Clubhouse Use During Snow and Cold Weather
This is a reminder for members who enjoy solo operations at the club.
Access to the club is a privilege available to all members in good standing for at least one year, provided they have completed a walkthrough of operating, opening, and closing procedures with a board member or officer.
