CAARA Newsletter for June 2026
The June 2026 newsletter is now available from https://caara.net/newnewsletters/2026/jun26.pdf.
June Caara newsletter content call out
It has come to the time of the month where we ask and invite everyone to create and submit ham radio related content to the clubs monthly newsletter. Each month we can use reviews of amateur radio equipment as well as write ups and photos of your ham radio activities. We can use photos of you radio shacks and antenna systems as well. So if you have anything please submit them to our newsletter editor Jon Cunningham K1TP at ,jpcrockport@gmail.com before the end of may so it can be in the next newsletter and a thanks goes out in advance to all those who contribute. 73,Dean Burgess KB1PGH
"Year of the Club" QSO Party
To all Amateur Radio Clubs:
The ARRL has officially declared 2026 the Year of the Club, and we’re answering that call with a brand‑new on‑the‑air event built specifically to energize your members and put your club front and center.
Reminder 6 meter Fishnet Tonight at 7:30pm
This is a reminder for the 6 meter Gloucester Fishnet, a simplex net held on 50.2 MHz Upper Side Band (USB) meeting tonight, Thursday, May 7th at 7:30pm.
I will serve as Net Control and look forward to hearing everyone on the air. Whether you are a regular or looking to test out your 6m setup, please feel free to check in and participate in the discussion.
If you have any questions regarding the net or technical setup, don't hesitate to reach out.
Join the CAARA Elmer's Corps Today!
CAARA is launching an exciting new initiative designed to get our newly licensed HAMs on the air and to encourage unlicensed enthusiasts to join our hobby. To ensure the success of this program, we are forming the "CAARA Elmer Corp," and I am writing to personally ask for your support.
